ServSafe Food Protection Certification

ServSafe is administered by the National Restaurant Association:

“We understand the importance of our program in teaching and certifying responsible food service measures. We stay on top of the various and changing regulatory requirements for every state and ensure that our certifications will prepare you to implement essential food safety practices and create a culture of food safety.”

Upon completion of the class and a passing exam score of at least 75%, students will receive their ServSafe certification, good for 5 years. Class includes in-person instruction, current manual, and proctored exam.

Register by 8/26 as students will be given books ahead of time to prepare for class.

Appropriate for ages 17 and up.

Basic Navajo Patient Advocacy

The Basic Navajo Patient Advocacy Course teaches caregivers the medical and technical terminology needed to be better able to communicate with our Navajo community in the hospital environment. This Navajo language-based online training prepares students to provide translation for proper diagnosis, use terminology appropriate to medical processes, and explain common hospital legal documents and processes.
