Project Management (CAPM Prep)

The Certified Associate in Project Management(CAPM)® course is designed for individuals seeking to gain more responsibility or add project management skills to their current role. The CAPM® certification offers recognition to practitioners who are interested in, or just starting, a career in project management, as well as project team members who wish to demonstrate their project management knowledge.
No degree needed to take the course. Students are required to have a Windows-compatible computer equipped with a camera, microphone, and internet access. Once registered for the class, students are required to download Microsoft 365 at no cost through San Juan College.Tuition includes the Student Study Hall materials and exam voucher. Online/live instructor. An on-campus room is available for students without internet access.

Business Essentials and Project Coordination

This 13-week, asynchronous program provides a fully funded opportunity for professionals to build essential business and project coordination skills. Participants will strengthen their abilities in business communication, technical writing, conflict resolution, and critical thinking while gaining hands-on experience with Microsoft Office tools, financial management, and time management. The program also covers foundational project coordination concepts, including stakeholder communication, risk management, and change control. Students are required to have a Windows-compatible computer equipped with a camera, microphone, and internet access. Once registered for the class, students will be required to download Microsoft 365 at no cost through San Juan College.

Prerequisites:
- 4-year degree + 36 months project leadership in the last 8 years, or
- High school diploma + 60 months project leadership experience in the last 8 years.
